I decided to participate in blogging101 course, and my first assignment is to introduce myself, so I’ll be doing that right now.
So lets first start with Who am I. A question that I’m sure everyone already asked themselves at least once. Also a question to which we never know a full answer.
My name is Magdalena, and I am from a small country in Europe (that most of you probably don’t know) Croatia. So on the topic of Croatia I’ll have to mention that it’s not an English-speaking country so I am very
insecure when it comes to my writing here, since English hasn’t been in my life for that long but I hope it will be from now on, since I really want to study abroad, possibly in London or somewhere near. I already know what I want to study but right know that is irrelevant to this post and this blog.
When I started my blog I said that I don’t want to label myself and the content of my blog, but for now my posts have been about fashion, beauty, photography and travelling. Pretty much this blog is me showing my experience with the world while I am finding myself and if that helps someone or inspires them that is just a plus.
Now lets complete this really chatty post with Why am I here in first place.
I fell in love with writing when my school paper published one of my texts and that was when I just started school. Since then, I haven’t stopped writing and even started writing a book which now has about 60 pages but I realized that if I really wanted to continue my education in an another country I will have to start writing in English so I started writing here, where I can get some feedback and learn a lot of new things by having fun and doing what I love.
That's it for todays assignment and now I am finishing it with my signature end.SO GOOD BYE FOR NOW, MY FRIENDS (if anyone is even reading)
I think your English is excellent 🙂 And your writing is very nice. I like how you write and I think I can learn much from you about how to write in English.
Warm regards from Indonesia.

Hello! Great to read your introduction, and a great photo along the Millennium Bridge! Your English is already reading well (I’m from England myself), so I hope you can gain lots of confidence with your writing skills! I’d love to travel to Croatia soon myself, my friend spent two weeks there this summer and loved it! Happy Blogging 🙂

Thank you very much, that means a lot to me. Where did you spent two weeks in Croatia, somwhere by the sea or the centre of the country?
Btw. I live in a small town by the sea so that is why am asking you

It was actually my friend who spent two weeks there, she spent a week in Kosovo Bear Sanctuary volunteering and then a week travelling along the coast, but I’m not sure exactly where sorry! I know how beautiful the coastline is in Croatia though, have you written any posts on Croatia? If so, I’d love to see them!

I haven’t really written any posts on Croatia but I could in near future, maybe after blogging101 is over or while it lasts as an assignment. We’ll see.

Bog!
I have spent half my childhood in Croatia, we have some friends there and when I was young I could even speak it a bit. I sadly forgot most of it… It’s such a beautiful country, as my fellow bloggers have already said.
Writing can be such a lovely thing, English isn’t my native language either, but why should that stop us, eh? It’s a beautiful thought that makes a post aesthetical. You go girl!

Thank you a lot, croatian is a pretty hard language (at least it’s harder then English) so it’s not weird that you forgot it.

You should share your thoughts and adventures with absolutely no self consciousness about your voice coming from a non English speaking country. That you have decided to write in English, I am grateful for because I do not speak your language, but I just love how this is a global community and your voice should sound Croatian even as you are generous enough to translate. Thank you.

I can guess what it means. Reading all this stuff from people learning English makes me want to use it better. Except in my last post. My last post was different. 🙂 It is written the way I talk, so many words are spelled wrong.

Hi! I’m so glad I stumbled across your blog! I’m planning a trip to Dubrovnik, Mostar, and Sarajevo this summer. I’m more than a little nervous because I haven’t left North America in over 50 years. I’m excited to follow you — and maybe learn a little about Croatia.
