Mood board for June

Here’s my mood board for this month. If you are not familiar with this concept, I basically put together some photos that I previously rebloged on my tumblr (which is girlonfire-youtuber-lover if anyone is wondering). I have been doing this for a few months now and I am going to link other mood boards down bellow. Every last Tuesday of the month you can expect a mood board for that month! Hope you like it as much as I do 😉

Summer Fashion and Beauty Haul

As promised in my Summer post, here is my Summer haul!

I went shopping a few times because I needed some new goodies for this summer. Here are some!

I bought this crop top in Bershka. It was pretty cheap, and I like the length since it comes to my belly button so it’s not a very short crop top. Also I am loving how it looks with my new overalls!

These are the overalls that I previously mentioned. I got them from New Yorker and I am totally obsessed with them, especially that they are black. Also they are in ever store this year, so I can already tell you overalls are going to be a big trend.

Also from Bershka I got this new pair of high-waisted light denim jeans. They are stretchy and so comfortable. Also very inexpensive.

Here we have my new bag from H&M, it’s a black faux leather bag with gold details and I love it so much. I take it everywhere because it’s the perfect size. Also on the photo you can see my new sunglasses from New Yorker. They were on sale and they are kind of like cat eye sunglasses but a bit more round so they are pretty much fit for any face shape.

I got these sandals from Humanic. I was looking for a perfect pair of black sandals everywhere and these ones were the only ones that I fell in love with. They are very comfortable once you break them in and also they have a little heel which means a lot to me because any kind of totally flat shoe makes my feet ache.

I had to get a new Iphone mask since I went from Iphone 5 to Iphone 6 and I bought this one from New Yorker. It’s cute and black, so I love it. It is as simple as that.

It’s summer and every girl who has oily skin needs a good primer. I saw this L’Oreal one in my local drugstore and decided to pick it up. The product by itself is fine. It primes your skin, makes makeup get on easier and even holds it on for a while, but it more like a going out primer then one you will wear to work. However, my mother who has dry skin said that is working great for her, so if you also have dry skin you’ll might want to try it.

This product is amazing. I had this exact Art Deco primer last year while I worked and it really makes your makeup last long. Even when you get a bit oily your makeup stays even on your eyelids. It is on a pricier side, but I know a lot pricier product that don’t work nearly as good. I think I might do a full review of it on one of my next Sunday reviews.

I want to get my hand on Maybelline‘s color tattoo eyeshadow for a long time. This one is in shade Pomegranate Pink and it looks great with my eye colour (since I have blue-ish green eyes, not every colour suits me). Also it lasts all day which is amazing, you really get what you paid for.

I ran out of my Rocket mascara from Maybelline so I decided to try the Lash Sensational. Although it makes my eyelashes very long and curved I still prefer the Rocket mascara.

I also restocked one of my most used compact powders and it’s Maybelline‘s Affinitone in the shade 17. I am probably going to need a new darker compact powder so if you have any recommendations that would be great. I mean this one does the job well, but I want a little bit of change.

That would be it for my short Summer Haul. I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you for reading!

Things are getting better!

This is going to be a short post, but a very important one for me.

Today 26th of June happened something very important. The ‘thing’ did not happen in my country, but nonetheless this is something that is extremely positive and will probably (hopefully) have an influence worldwide. Now, from this day, same-sex marriage is legal in all 50 states in America. Do not think that this is a milestone only for homosexual people in America, this is a huge deal for all lgbtq+ people (some of them are bisexual, pansexual, polysexual, transsexual and so on) from all over the world. For a huge believer in equality, that I personally am, this is something that gives hope. Hope that someday we will end inequality, homophobia, transphobia and all that is wrong with this world. Hope that things ARE actually getting better. #LOVEWINS

Not so summer playlist!

Today I am going to talk about one of my passions. Music!

As a dancer I really enjoy music, the beat, the lyrics and the feeling you get whilst listening. And I had realized that I didn’t talk about music almost at all, so I decided to change that. Welcome to my playlist!

These are the songs that I currently like and that I always go back to, so maybe you’ll find something for yourself (Who knows?).
PS: I hope you do!

  1.  Halsey – Hold Me Down
I recently discovered this artist and I can tell you she is amazing. This is my favourite song of hers and it has been one of my most listened to songs this month! Lyrics are amazing and a bit dark, just like a love it.
  2. Fall Out Boy – Light Em Up (Nick Thayer Remix)
This is seriously one of the best remixes I ever heard. The beat, edits and the different edge give this song so much life. It’s no secret how much I love Fall Out Boy, I already talked about them, but this is next level.
  3. Years & Years – Desire
This band got a place in my heart after I listened to their song King, but they really captured my aesthetic after I watched their music video for Shine, their new single. I went and listened to every song, and Desire is my favourite! Also their new album is coming out this summer so I am super excited about that.
  4. Jessie J – Flashlight
I have been secretly singing this song whilst going to school, in the shower, doing some work. It’s just so catchy and it has grown on me, especially after I watch Pitch Perfect 2 (where the song is featured)
  5. Zedd- Papercut feat. Troye Sivan
I have already talked about Troye in my Youtubers To Watch post and now he has collaborated with Zedd on his new album True Colors and this song is honestly the best song on the album, at least to me. Troye’s voice and changing of the beats that Zedd does just works so perfectly together. PS: There is no official audio on YouTube.
  6. Skrillex and Diplo – Where Are Ü Now with Justin Bieber
This is Justin’s comeback and I love it. He cleaned up his act and I am finally proud again to listen to his music. The song has a mix of a great beat and a great slow part. This collaboration is something that we all would have thought that is not going to work out, but somehow it works perfectly.
  7. Major Lazer & DJ Snake – Lean On feat. MØ
I have to admit that as much as I love this song, I don’t really like the music video. I don’t know why, but I really don’t. But the song is catchy and that is why I am featuring it on this list.
  8. The Weeknd – Can’t Feel My Face
I am not usually a big fan of The Weeknd, I mean I know a few songs but before this song I would never go onto YouTube and look just for one of their songs. Even though in this song they personify drugs as a beautiful woman, you can just listen it and think it’s just about a woman, so I would let one that pass by.
  9. Icona Pop – Emergency
This song is a perfect summer song that you’ll probably hear in every night club. It’s fun and has a decent beat.
  10. Sia – Fire Meet Gasoline
And for the end of this list we have Sia’s newest song that I fell in love with as soon as heard the first note. It’s a more serious and dramatic song, just in her style. In the music video we have the beautiful Heidi Klum, so that is certainly worth watching. What I love in Sia’s song is that everyone can find something for themselves, even if you are not in a difficult relationship, or in hurt over someone you love, you can take a great message from every single one of her songs.

That will be it for my music list. I hope you have found something for you and that you will have a great summer of fun and relaxing.
