Weird diary for the month of July

This is quite literally a journey thourgh my mind, it’s not a very safe place so consider yourself warned!

2nd of July

I don’t know how but it always seem like everything bad is my fault.

4th of July

It makes me so angry that I ignore my intuition and instinct. It’s like I know I am going to be hurt so badly, but still do it. Am I a masochist?

6th of July

I am one of those people who cry when they get angry and that is so frustrating because I look like a fool. I could be yelling at you about how mad I am and cry simultaneously. And after I’m done I usually start to sob even more. It’s so crazy. Also I read on Tumblr that these kinds of people are the most dangerous so I’m also afraid of myself. INSANE!

9th of July

I hate summer. I know what you think, oh the heat, bikinis, depilation etc. It’s not even that. Summer is the season were I always break all of my promises to myself. And that is connected to me doubting myself more and thinking I am worthless. SO I PRETTY MUCH SPEND MY SUMMER PARTYING! (that’s pure sarcasm if you didn’t catch it)

11th of July

Oh God, I just realized a few days ago that I am a total control freak and when I told that to one of my friends she was like I know. How did I miss this? I mean, I have been considering myself a perfectionist for a long time, but a control freak? That is totally new to me!

14th of July

I hate that someone who is a pretty bad person and acts like they are best at everything and like he/she is better than anyone, thinks I am the same way just because they don’t like me or the fact that I actually stand up against them when everyone else is too afraid.

17th of July

Summer, tanning and beaches are overrated.

I am constantly afraid that my depression is going to come back as soon as this summer finishes.

19th of July

I love when I notice how much I have grown as a person and how has my style changed within these few years.

21st of July

It is so great when you finally admit something that you have been repressing for years to yourself even though you might aren’t ready to tell everyone. It is so great to feel comfortable within yourself, more than I could ever begin to express!

23rd of July

It’s amazing how one thing or a person can make you day better or worse.

25th of July

How is it possible for me to leave everything until the last moment and then still do everything on time?

29th of July

I can’t believe how much I feel different from what I felt half a year ago. It’s like I’m a totally different person. And it’s not only that, I feel more at peace with my self and my mind setting so that’s good but it seems that good presents a weird feature in my life.

How is it possible that I am still clueless about what is flirting and what is not?

  • That will be it for this Weird Diary. I just thought it would be interesting to see how my mind works on different days and in different time periods. Mood Board for July

I have been doing mood boards for a few months, but last month someone mentioned that they could be more interesting if I gave some information about what I did that month that is connected with this photos (that I rebloged onto my Tumblr, if you want to check it out it’s girlonfire-youtube-lover)

I have been working selling ice cream and bartending so I drink and make more coffee than usually.
Whilst I sell ice cream I always listen to some good music and this month that are albums American Beauty/American Psycho and Save Rock And Roll from Fall Out Boy and also the new album from the amazing band Years & Years called Communion.
My latest craves are french fries and Coca Cola which I usually don’t consume that much.
I am travelling to Italy in October and I am already planning how am I spending the precious days there.
All I want lately is to wake up alone not having to do anything all day and have a nice bath. I know I am not asking for much!
I started to experiment more with my eye makeup!
Also I have been thinking about doing a tattoo while I am in Italy! (If anyone from Rome is reading what are some good tattoo parlours?)

And that will be it for this month’s mood board! I hope you enjoyed it. 😉

Close up

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Close Up.”

(Click on the photo to see it in full size)

This is a close up I shot a few week ago because I was curious about why was this pencil in a random spot with nothing to write on and the picture turned out pretty great. I love how the pencil looks up close and that in the front of the photo I have caught the scratches on the table. It’s very minimalistic and simple, but I think it’s also interesting.

What has summer thought me

A few days ago I realized that most of the things I am good at socially are the benefit of living by the sea. So I decide to talk about them in this post. How innovative!

1. Giving people information and directions is really easy.
2. Picking up new foreign words and using them later.
3. Counting money and calculating the change to give back is a piece of cake even though in school I sometimes write that 2 times 2 is 6 for some reason.
4. Having a tan is either overrated or really easy since you are there the whole summer.
5. Picking up new hobby in summer is great because you are most likely to keep them if you started them in the time you don’t have a lot else to do.
6. Inventing various ways to earn some extra money is a useful skill that pretty much everyone in a town like mine has.
7. Summer is the time of the year you need to use to catch up with your favourite shows and watch new movies that came out.
8. Don’t do all of your shopping in June, the best sales are on at the begging of September or even at the end of August (if you can wait that long)!
9. Travelling in a non summer month is much better.
10. You don’t have to keep a strict diet, because you work more, sweat more and exercise more ( going to the beach and swimming kills a lot of calories)!
That will be it for this Tuesday 🙂

Restyling a Bridesmaid Dress

I am so excited to show you this project I have been working on for Weddington Way. I had to use one of their bridesmaid dresses as inspiration and also include it and restyle it so it could be perfect for a summer date outfit.

For this look I decided to match two shades of pink which you might not remember to pare together – baby pink and nude pink. Also I kept the accent on the shades of powder blue. I wanted something simple that can easily be recreated.
1. Dress – Weddington Way – beautiful shape and the boatneck is great for a statement necklace
2. Necklace – Mango – romantic colours and gold accents make it just perfect for this
3. Shoes – Bershka – the nude and shiny finish make then pop out
4. Bag – Asos – simple leather but gorgeous colour
5. Lips – Mac – creamy lipstick with a bit of shimmer
6. Perfume – Marc Jacobs – romantic and easy-on-the-nose scent

That is it for this project! Definitely check Weddington Way and their beautiful clothes on their site – click here ! They have everything for brides, groomsmen and bridesmaids. 🙂
