Christmas on Small Town Blogger

Not going to apologize about being absent, I was actually more focused on my Instagram page so it is not like I haven’t been doing anything. But it comes a time when my fingertips miss the feeling of tapping onto a keyboard, so I have come back to do my annual Christmas season posts. I actually have no idea what am I going to write about, except a travel post about my weekend in Munich where I experienced their kind of advent, a possible haul from Munich and a review of advent in Zagreb (as I did last year). If you have any suggestions be free to send them!

The Munich travel post will be out this weekend, so either tomorrow or the day after, so stay tuned!

Mood board for December

page.jpg

I have been doing mood boards for over a year now, the concept is me giving some information about what I did that month that is connected with this photos (that I rebloged onto my Tumblr, if you want to check it out it’s girlonfire-youtube-lover).

Coffee, tea and soup in a mug are my favourite friends this winter!

I am one of those people who do not mind wearing a bra, I kind of like it even. I am not that person who cannot wait to get home to take the bra off. Is that weird?

Only thing I know for sure about my prom dress is that is going to be burgundy, and it might have a bare back but will see.

I love knee-high socks for winter. Simple but stylish.

I miss visiting galleries so much. There is just something so comforting for me when looking at paintings.

My go to makeup this months is, sparkly rose gold and brown eyes with a darker lip.

Keeping my hair in a messy ponytail at home has become a new ritual.

I got a lot of new stuff for Christmas, including three new beautiful bags.

Mood Board for November

page.jpg

I have been doing mood boards for over a year now, the concept is me giving some information about what I did that month that is connected with this photos (that I rebloged onto my Tumblr, if you want to check it out it’s girlonfire-youtube-lover).

Cannot wait to get a rose tattooed. Probably the same place on the photo! Very soon (if you consider 2 and a half months soon).

Finally the fall colours set in my hometown.

Thinking about my prom dress. Right now I think I will have an open back and a burgundy dress, but I will keep you updated.

Just started to wear my coat daily. It has just gotten that cold here!

This month I found out that I make a killer Oreo frappe/milkshake (photos on my insta!)

Would some of you be interested in seeing my mini MAC collection? I have maybe 4 products but still.

I am planning maybe doing Christmas with Small Town Blogger this year again, but only have maybe 2 ideas. Any suggestions?

I got some interesting wardrobe pieces while I was in Zagreb. I might do a winter lookbook or at least one or more outfit inspirations!

Decorating for Christmas this weekend. I know to most of you it is too soon, but to me (and my other Christmas enthusiast) it is too late!

A rhetorical question

Have you ever had trouble with starting of your posts, essays, sentences, thoughts? I find that the best beginning to all of those is a simple question. One that makes yourself and others who read or listen to you, really think. A rhetorical question. I call it that even though I answer it through debate style writing.

It doesn’t necessarily need to be a hard-hitting question, it helps to start simple. My teacher once said that most times the most simple things are the most complicated, and my ex-boyfriend said that I make things too complicated by trying to simplify them. Simple is not always easy, at least to me. Maybe I am not the right person to listen to when it comes to simple things, but today I am going to try to think about some simple rhetorical questions for you (and me, when I run out of inspiration) to begin your posts (or any of those forms of expression I mentioned previously) with.

Why do people think being different is weird? or What does normal even mean?
What is more important, inspiration or creativity?
Have you ever felt that you are making a bad decision and still made it? or Why do I constantly ignore my intuition, even although it’s mostly right?
Do I like something just because I think I am supposed to like it?
How much are our decisions affected by what others think?
Am I afraid or just cautious?
Are we finding or creating ourselves?
Does reflecting on your past actually help you?
Am I really ever going to know who I am?
Is love something we should all aspire to have?

and bonus question that my mind is constantly trying to process: Are you really crazy if you admit you are crazy?
(by crazy I mean mentally crazy, like out of your mind crazy)

I think that would be enough for today. This is just a random post, because I felt like writing something different and something that is only a bit funny, but not really.
So if you decide to take one (or more) of these questions and answer it through a blog post, it would be nice of you to link me (it’s not like I could ever check who did this and who didn’t) and I would genuinely love to read your answers.
