Here we go, another favourites post. If you follow my blog content closely you would know that I skipped March favourites, and that is because I didn’t really have a lot of new things to show. So here is the 3rd favourites post of the year. I hope you’ll enjoy!
Farmasi All in One CC Cream
Farmasi is a brand that I have just recently heard of and, since I ordered a few of their things. One of those things was this CC cream and I absolutely fell in love with it. It is a bit darker, but it still looks good on me and very natural. It lasts about 5/6 hours until I get oily which is long for my skin. I also love the slight scent it has, as long as the fact that I can use it without compact powder without looking like a complete mess! Also it was pretty inexpensive, especially since it was on sale.
Maybelline Colorshow 60 seconds nail polish in 20 Blush Berry and 59 Marina Chic
I was really impressed by these nail polishes from Maybelline, you get such a great quality for a small amount of money. There is so many colours to choose from, I got this dark blue one for myself and a week after that I got the berry one as a gift. The colours are so amazing, I am for sure going to where one of them for my prom this Saturday. Also in all of these photos I am wearing the 20. I have never seen before that I can wear the same nail polish, after two coats, for a week and have minimal chipping that isn’t even noticeable. Best thing ever!
Maybelline Fit me foundation
Since I run out of the Farmasi CC cream I had to buy a new foundation in my local drugstore. I went in to get the affinitone one, but my shade was sold out. That is why I picked this foundation that I previously considered to dry-looking after I tried the tester on my skin. And let me tell you it is definitely dry, but not too dry that it looks awful, it is matt and smooth. What I need to mention is that if you have dry skin or dry patches this foundation is not for you! My nose is a bit dryer that the rest of my skin and I can notice a difference, but since it is not completely dry it still looks fine. The price is same as the affinitone is, so I thought that it was worth trying.
Essence Eyebrow designer in Blonde
I have no idea how I managed to get to this point and not mention this product. This eyebrow pencil is a product that is a constant in my makeup routine, and I have been repurchasing it for more than 2 years. This is the lightest shade that they offer and it works perfectly with my skin tone and hair colour. it is so inexpensive but works perfectly. If they discontinue this one I have no idea what product will I have to buy next. Also it’s bigger when you buy it (I use it a lot 😉 ).
Flormar Lip Balm in Black Mulberry
I got this lip balm when I was on my excursion in September, in Athens. I just walked in the first store I saw was opened and picked this one up. What draw me to this balm was the colour and the scent which match perfectly. I love wearing pigmented lip balms like this and Maybelline’s Baby Lips electro. This is the perfect thing to always bring with you wherever you go because it keeps your lips moisturized and it has SPF 15!
Farmasi Botanics Shampoo with Nettle
I have very problematic hair. Even though it is fairly short it gets oily too fast and I have dandruff as well. This shampoo actually makes a difference when it comes to my hair. I can usually last 2 days without washing my hair and this gives me an extra day without washing it. As soon as your hair dries you see how soft and shiny your hair is, and the scent that this shampoo leaves is absolutely heavenly, I never knew something like nettle can be good for your hair, but when my hairdresser recommended both nettle and this particular shampoo I had to get it straight away and I haven’t regretted!
Snob Milano sunglasses
I couldn’t wait for better weather so I can start wearing these babies again. I got them last year somewhere in the middle of summer. These are reflective but not too much, since I really hate that. They are a small frame since they are italian, which works perfectly with my small head. I can honestly say that I have never seen a pair of sunglasses that look better on me than these. I fell like I get so many compliments every single time I wear them or post them on instagram. Definitely money well spent!
Rimmel Lasting finish compact powder
I decided to break routine a little and try a new compact powder. I picked this Rimmel one and I do not really have to say a lot about it honestly. It works fine and it lasts a long time in combination with my new foundation, and that is the reason why it is in my April favourites. But I also think I won’t be repurchasing it again because I think my Catrice compact powder work just as good for less amount of money and also you get a bit more product. I got this on 50% off sale so it was approximately the same price as the Catrice one.
Schaebens Peel-off Mask
Recently Muller opened in my home town and I went to buy something new there to try it out. I saw this mask on the shelf and since I haven’t ever tried a peel off mask I decided to give it a try, and also it doesn’t cost a lot of money (maybe 1 euro). After trying it for the first time I fell in love with it. It leaves your skin clean and mattiefied instantly. Your complexion looks so even and nice, I have never seen a mask do something like that. This small packaging has enough for two uses. The only thing that I find disappointing is that this packaging is all they have, there isn’t a full size product, at least in my town.
That would be it for this months favourites. I hope you have enjoyed and that you are going to come back for more next month! Please do be so kind and leave a couple of your favourites from April in the comments below.
