Sunday Review: Bell Hypoallergenic mat&soft make up

Welcome to another Sunday Review, I haven’t posted one in a long
time, but here’s a review of Bell’s Hypoallergenic foundation!

img_0427-0This is the first time I have used Bell cosmetics, but, I’ll be honest, I was pleasantly surprise because I didn’t expect to find this product so good. Since it’s getting a bit hotter I wanted a light foundation with good coverage and when I walk into the drugstore I saw the section for Bell cosmetics and I picked up this to try it out, not expecting a lot. But let me tell you that I prefer this product over Healthy Mix from Bourjois, since its matt, light and has amazing coverage. It lasts a long time even without using a primer which is a huge plus. Also it is good for your skin and improves your skin.
I couldn’t ask for more. It’s also inexpensive compared to other foundations and economic since you can remove the pump and use it all up.

Only thing I would say I don’t like is that it doesn’t come with anything to put over the pump, but that is something I can overlook. I highly recommend this product to everyone, if you find it in a store pick it up and try, you won’t regret it.

Sunday Review: Givenchy Electric Rose Perfume

For today’s Sunday Review I am reviewing the Very Irresistible Givenchy Electric Rose perfume.

img_5507
First of all, I have to say that this is my absolute favourite perfume ever. If you have already read some of my reviews you have seen that I love roses and everything about them. This is the official description of it and its scent: Very Irresistible Givenchy Electric Rose is announced as an aromatic – floral fragrance inspired by the raw rock ‘n’ roll music. The fragrance reflects rebellious style and unusual elegance signature to this house. The composition begins with very bright and fresh notes of blueberry, lemon, basil and verbena. The heart is expectedly dominated by rose, mixed with notes of anise and dewy green violet. The base accords include cedar wood and pearly musk.
This is the limited edition, and it also comes in black. I love it, it really is me in a perfume. The perfume is very long-lasting and it isn’t too strong. The bottle of 50ml has lasted more than 6 months which is great.

The only downside is its price, but I had 50% off of all perfumes so it was more affordable and I hadn’t regretted it.

Sunday Review: Garnier Pure Active Micellar Cleaning Water

This Sunday Review I am reviewing Garnier Pure
Active Micellar Cleaning Water

img_5392

I bought this product a week ago, and I have used it twice everyday since then. As most of micellar waters it cleans your makeup pretty good, but this one is specifically for combination to  oily sensitive skin, so it doesn’t leave any redness or irritations and in the same time it makes your skin more matt without drying it out. Bottle contains 400ml which is enough for 200 uses, which I find very economical. Also what I love about it, it’s an affordable drugstore product from a very good brand.

There isn’t a particular downside to this product and I have to say that I will definitely be repurchasing it after I use it up.

Ps: I’m sorry for missing last weeks Sunday Review, but I thought I deserved a little break! And I promise I will make it up to you in one of next reviews because I am planing something special. 😉

Sunday Review: The Pointless Book

This Sunday I am doing something different, a review of a book, more
specifically The Pointless Book.

This is The Pointless Book written by Alfie Deyes better known as PointlessBlog on YouTube. Alfie is a great youtuber whom I have been watching for a long while now and when I had found out he is releasing his book just before I was about to go to London I was over the moon. When I got there I went in the nearest Waterstones to pick it up, and started filling it as soon as I got home. Here you can even see some of the pages I have filled.

I think this idea of a diary is great and fun to fill out since many people (including me) have a hard time writing a proper diary. This way you can randomly open a page or a few when you are bored and have nothing else to do, and just write. I would, however, recommend writing the date somewhere on the page so it really is a diary.
The idea is innovative and practical, also there is a Pointless Book app so you can watch some videos of Alfie doing the challenges in the book himself which I find great. And the price is just fine, might I add.

This is a book for everyone, kids, adults, teenagers, people who watch Alfie’s videos and those who don’t, pretty much for anyone who can read and write.

Sunday Review: L’Oréal Color Riche Intense lipstick

Today I am reviewing L’Oréal Color Riche Intense lipstick in 385 Brick Lamé

img_5246

I am a person who thinks that she cannot wear the bright red lipstick and for a long time I have run from all shades of red lipstick. Untill I found this L’Oréal Color Riche Intense lipstick in shade Brick Lamé. It’s the perfect colour for me since it’s not to red but it is red enough. The colour has a glitter pigment which is barely noticeable on your lips. Also the lipstick by itself has that vintage odour of lipsticks. Formula isn’t matt nor glossy which makes it great for every occasion. I have been wearing it for months now and it has become one of my favourite lipsticks of all time.

As all L’Oréal cosmetics, it is a bit pricy, so I would say that is its only downside. If you can put aside £9-10 then this is the lipstick for you, and it also comes in a lot other shades so you can definitely find one for you.
