Yes, I am very well aware of the date and the title of this post! Yes, I am one of those people who enjoy Christmas to the fullest and start to feel Christmassy as soon as November starts! If you are not like me, here are some good Christmas/Holiday movies to watch this holiday season! And if you indeed are one of those people, join me by litting up your favourite Christmas candle and blasting out that Micheal Bubble Christmas album!
The Holiday – an easy romantic Christmas movie that I would definitely skip if you are feeling down about being single these holidays.
Arthur Christmas – it is a cartoon, but if that fact does not bother you too much it is a movie worth watching because it really gives a good message and that Christmas spirit!
Home Alone – I know everyone has seen every movie multiple times, but there is no Christmas without Home Alone. You have a favourite one for sure, just watch that one!
Love Actually – a favourite of many, various storylines can certainly offer something to everyone!
The Family Stone – a comedy within a movie about an unusual family, with an amazing cast!
Die Hard – for all those action movie lovers, or simply everyone who is in love with young Bruce Willis.
Christmas with the Kranks – also one of those movies filled with famous actors, a comedy about a family that decided to skip Christmas, but then everything kind of changed.
How the Grinch stole Christmas – also one of the classics, one of those movies you are sick of wathcing but can’t help but watch, why should this year be different?

First I wanted to talk about the queen of YouTube, mister Tyler Oakley. He is a great person to be subscribed to because he knows everyone and therefore makes collabs with everyone so that is also a great way to get to know some people. I, personally, am subscribed because he is a person with an optimistic view of the world (which I need in my life), also he talks a lot about LGBTQ community (in fact right now he is collecting money to donate to Trevor Project: more on prizeo.com/tyler).
Troye Sivan is such a talented young man. I hope you heard his name before, but if you somehow didn’t now you are going to find everything about him. The guy hasn’t even turned 20 and he is already a successful singer-songwriter (with an EP called TRXYE, and a new album coming soon), model (he walked in YSL’s Paris Fashion Week show this year), actor (he played the young Wolverine in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and he is a lead in South African trilogy called Spud) whilst being a popular youtuber. Lately what I have been loving on his channel is all of his new inspirational videos that helped me and a lot of my friends to just be who we are and to create ourselves.
Next on is Hannah Hart. She has a YouTube channel called MyHarto and a special thing about it that she has this thing called My Drunk Kitchen where she really does cook while being drunk and that is the best thing in the whole world. When you are looking for some laughing or some new puns you can always go to her channel and you won’t be disappointed!
Meghan Rienks is a young youtuber and actress. Her content is mostly about fashion and beauty but things that I love the most are depression and positivity related. If you are dealing with depression or having a bad time in your life you need to see her video Spark: A Visual Poem by Meghan Rienks. Also she has an amazing Instagram @meghanrienks where she is so dedicated to her theme of every picture being mostly white.
This is Laci Green, she talks about sex education. I really love watching her videos because she promotes body positivity, gender and sexuality equality amongst everything. Her main channel is just lacigreen, but she also has a web show on YouTube with MTV called mtv braless.
