Hello, new year, new feature here on my blog. This is my first favourites post and I hope you will like it enough for me to post a February one. I know I am a bit late, this usually goes up the first few days of the month, but last week and a half I was crazy busy!
Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer – This is a budget friendly concealer from a drugstore that is also so good that I am on my 4 tube I think. It is long-lasting since it’s waterproof and give such an amazing coverage. I had a lot of Borjuois concealers and this one is just as good, but a lot cheaper! I am in shade 02, and sadly this is the darkest shade and I am very fair so I can use both the 02 one and 01.
NYX Lid Lingerie – This is probably the best makeup item I have ever purchased. I love the formula of this, it goes on so smoothly and stays all day. Mixing with other shades is also very good, but on its own it also looks beautiful with the shimmer it has. I have it in the shade Rose Pearl and it is my go to eye makeup look, especially when I am running late. I just put it on, some mascara and done!
Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation– New foundation in 2017. Actually I am on the hunt for the perfect new foundation and this one was the first on my hunt! It is better than my old Bell one, but still not the perfect match for me. It gives great coverage, but you do not feel it on your face. For me it is not so long-lasting it should be and I even use a compact powder over it. If you do not like scents in your makeup stay free from this one, if you are okay with that than you should try it for yourself if you have normal/dry skin. For us with oily skin it isn’t what we are looking for, but still a good foundation.
Maybelline the Colossal Go Extreme! Mascara – Well, I got this mascara for Christmas as a present and have been using it ever since. It is my new favourite mascara, so similar to the Rocket Volume Mascara from Maybelline which I loved so much when it came out! It darkness my lashes and gives it great volume and lengths. Perfect!
Seventeen Clear Skin Tea Tree Oil Cream – I got this while I was in Greece, because I forgot to bring my cream with me on the travel. Just stumbled upon a small drugstore and saw the label and words clear skin and bought it. I used it there and forgot about it when I came home. So, how I started using it? Well, I got a case of post-holiday acne and used this just to try it again and I saw the results over just one night. After 3 days of using it once a day my acne cleared up completely. Amazing cream, it is a moisturizer and it balances your skin and it was pretty inexpensive if I remember correctly.
Maybelline Affinitone Foundation – Thanks to the cream my skin has become so amazing that I didn’t need a full coverage foundation on those easy days when I am not wearing makeup for most of the day. On those days I have been using this foundation from Maybelline and it feels so amazing on my skin, it stays for 5/6 hours without touching up or even putting on a compact powder. It is so light and it covers just enough.
Catrice Eyeliner Pen – I am impressed with the brand Catrice, so impressed that on the advise of my friend I got their eyeliner pen to try it out. And it is so amazing, easy to use and long-lasting, it stand all crying and cry-laughing I do. In January I did a lot of cat eyeliner and with this it is so easy to do it, I haven’t ever done a flick so easily.
Givenchy Electric Rose – This is a limited edition perfume that through years has become my signature perfume. The first time I finished the bottle I figured that I would have a hard way of finding another one, and that was true. Untill I found one in an airport tax-free fragrance store and I was thrilled. It passed 4 months and I almost finished this one. I am not going to try to explain the fragrance, but you can read my review about it here!
Syoss Anti-Grease Dry Shampoo– This has been my saviour more than once, since my hair pretty much become greasy after one day. For me it is a better product than Batiste one’s but I don’t quit like the scent it has, but a little perfume in my hair after brushing this out fixes everything!
Deborah Lipstick – I have already talked about this product before. One of the things I mentioned is that it s pretty much the only shade of red I can possibly bear to wear on my lips. This is Deborah lipstick from their line of Red lipsticks, and it is in number 3. It has a nice shimmer that is barely visible and it looks amazing!
MAC lipstick – Also already raved about this one in my MAC Mini Collection. This is Sophisto and it also has a shimmer in it, but it is a rich burgundy colour which goes with most of my clothing. And have I mentioned I love burgundy a bit too much?
That would be all for January favourites! I hope you liked it and that you want to see February Favourites in half a month, be sure to comment your favourite products from beginning of this year as well.
